Steve Watts

In 1990, Steve Watts founded CSI Electrical Contractors with three electricians, an administrator, and a considerable amount of personal risk. Today, having built a company with over a thousand employees and a long list of satisfied clients, Steve serves to lead and inspire every employee to deliver great work that solves a customer’s problem perfectly.

Prior to starting CSI, Steve gained more than a decade of hands-on experience in the field and the office, in roles ranging from helper to project manager. During that period, he also studied Finance at California State University, Fullerton.

Over the years, Steve has led CSI along a steady path of organic growth, fueled by his affinity for new technology and an uncanny ability to identify and develop top-notch professionals in every area of the business. On a daily basis, he is active in every key aspect of CSI’s overall growth, strategic operations, and customer relationships.

Outside of the office, Steve enjoys spending time with his family and playing the guitar, which he first picked up at age 10. He enjoys the beach, the mountains, and all that California has to offer.
