CSI Electrical Contractors benefits Semper Fi & America’s Fund with an impactful day on the green
For 21 years, CSI Electrical Contractors Inc.’s (CSI) Annual Golf Tournament has been more than a day on the course. It has become a cherished tradition that celebrates the relationships at the heart of the company’s success while having a meaningful impact on a cause that hits close to home.
This year’s tournament, held at Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms Resort, brought together customers, vendor partners, and CSI team members for a day of camaraderie, competition, and giving back. Benefiting Semper Fi & America’s Fund, the event supports critically wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and military families through one-on-one case management, connection, and lifetime support, a cause near and dear to a company with a strong culture of supporting its veteran employees.
Supporting Those Who Served
Giving back has long been a pinnacle part of CSI’s culture. The company focuses its charitable efforts around several key pillars, including feeding the hungry, supporting men’s and women’s health initiatives, and helping veterans.
With several veterans among CSI’s workforce, supporting military families through the tournament was a natural fit. The company selected Semper Fi & America’s Fund because of the organization’s direct impact on service members, veterans, and their families throughout local communities, and the partnership continues to make a difference.
“It was truly a joy to be part of the CSI Electrical Contractors’ 2025 Golf Tournament,” said Carly Kenworthy, Senior Manager of Community Events for Semper Fi & America’s Fund. “Our team felt so welcomed by CSI and their incredible customers, and it was inspiring to see so many people come together in support of the service members, veterans, and military families we are honored to serve.”
A Tradition Built on Partnership
What began as a single-course tournament has grown significantly over the past two decades. Now in its 21st year, the event spans two championship courses and welcomes approximately 288 golfers.
Behind the scenes, months of planning and coordination help make the event one of the best in the industry. This commitment reflects a core CSI value: putting customers first.
“From the beginning, CSI has put our customers first, and our annual golf tournament reflects that value,” said Rachel Anderson, Director of Marketing at CSI, “Our Golf Tournament is focused on providing a perfect day for our customers and vendors in appreciation of their partnership, in addition to benefiting a meaningful cause”
A Day Focused on Connection
The tournament experience is designed to bring people together while celebrating the partnerships that drive our success.
Guests are welcomed at registration with exclusive tournament swag before gathering in the event Party Zone for a food truck lunch, cocktails, and interactive activities. Following a shotgun start, golfers head onto the course to enjoy a full afternoon of golf complete with numerous contest holes including challenges such as Beat the Pro, Longest Drive, and Hole-in-One competitions. One of the most meaningful stops on the course is the Charity Blackjack Hole, where participants support veterans through donations benefiting Semper Fi & America’s Fund.
The day concludes with a cocktail reception, dinner, tournament awards, raffle prizes, and opportunities for attendees to connect with colleagues, customers, and industry partners.
“CSI’s Annual Golf Tournaments are always filled with legendary stories, from hole-in-ones to lifelong friendships forming,” Anderson said. “It is truly an epic day filled with meaning and fun.”
Approximately 40 CSI employees help execute the tournament, a testament to the teamwork and dedication required to create a memorable experience for every guest.
