Gene Acosta
Electricians are often called the “doctors of the construction industry” because of the intense level of problem-solving and skill the trade entails. For Gene Acosta, this combination of critical thinking and hands-on work has been the perfect foundation to build a thriving 28-year career.
Beginning his career in Critical Facilities, while specializing in Design Build and complicated, specialized installations, Gene had an intense focus on growing his expertise and technical acumen in electrical construction. This beginning paved the way for Gene to join CSI in 2004 where he held multiple positions and now serves as the Vice President of Energy Solutions overseeing our renewables and utilities construction.
In his role, Gene drives success through his unwavering commitment to deliver quality work and excellent customer satisfaction. By facilitating a positive environment of teamwork, communication, hard work, and trust, Gene has skyrocketed the growth of CSI’s energy group and has helped CSI become an invaluable resource to our customers.
As a highly motivated and productive leader, Gene has cultivated an environment that is devoted to understanding what is most important to our customers and delivering on their needs. It is because of his deep passion to create this value and develop trust with our customers that CSI has been recognized as one of the premier energy contractors in America.
After work and on the weekends, Gene enjoys spending time with his two daughters and wife of 23 years. Gene and his family like to stay active boating, skiing, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
