San Mateo County Office Building

This new office building for the County of San Mateo is the first net-zero energy, LEED Platinum, mass timber civic building in the U.S., according to Engineering News Record (ENR).

CSI Electrical Contractors, Inc. (CSI) was responsible for directing, coordinating, and overseeing all electrical construction throughout the all-electric building. They installed all the electrical infrastructure, integrated custom lighting fixtures throughout the facility and developed the Title 24 compliant electrical design.

ENR California recognized the project in 2024 as the Best Project in the Government/Public Building category and with the Excellence in Sustainability award for that category.
